Privacy policy

This policy explains what data SendIt collects, how long it is retained, and how shared files and code snippets are removed after expiry.

It also discloses our use of cookies and local storage, and that third parties including Google may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons and IP addresses, to serve and measure advertising on this site. Opt-out options are described in full on the page.

SendIt must receive and temporarily store file or code content to provide the transfer. Uploaded file content is encrypted before storage and access ends after expiry; scheduled cleanup and operational metadata can occur separately. Shared content is not used for advertising or sold to advertisers.

Transfer content is separate from transfer metadata. File names, sizes, timestamps, expiry settings, access events, account records, and security logs may be processed to operate the service, prevent abuse, answer support questions, and meet legal obligations.

Basic sharing does not require an account, but no online service should be treated as anonymous or risk-free. Avoid uploading secrets that do not need to be transferred, use the shortest practical expiry, and contact support for privacy requests at mmbrothersteam@gmail.com.

The policy also explains browser storage, optional analytics consent, Google advertising disclosures, international processing, children’s privacy, data rights, retention, and how policy changes are communicated. Users should read the full policy rather than relying only on this summary.
